Please arrive 10 minutes early. This will allow you time to unwind and relax prior to your experience. Please allow a minimum of 4 – 6 hours for your appointment. Depending on your selected style, your appointment may require additional time.
To ensure the promptness of all reservations, we reserve the right to reschedule any reservation that is 15 minutes late or later to another convenient time.
HAIRLOKS by ARLETTE offers every potential client a consultation. The consultation provides us with the opportunity to meet each other, discuss your hair care needs and desired style. During your consultation, you will be given the approximate price, the history of the salon, the opportunity to review my portfolio and a short bio of your stylist. Feel free to bring photos of your desired hair styles and hair goals. Fees for the consultation are based on the service you desire:
The consultation is non-refundable.
Cancellations or reservations cancelled at least one day 24 hours in advance allows us to accommodate other guests and will be greatly appreciated. All no-shows must be paid in full before any additional appointments will be reserved or honored. If for any reason, we have to cancel a same day reservation, HAIRLOKS by ARLETTE will rectify the hair service with the client.
Hairloks by Arlette strongly advises clients to purchase the highest quality hair. This is an investment and the purchase of high quality hair often determines the final look of your selected style. We WILL NOT assume responsibility for the performance of hair that is NOT recommended by our salon. High quality hair is available for purchase through Hairloks by Arlette.
Credit Card Payments
All appointments must have a current / up-to-date credit card on file to hold an appointment. If you cancel your appointment within the 24 hour period, your card will be charged the full amount of the service. There will be no refunds. Full payment is due upfront for hair needed for install services (i.e. weaves, crochet installs and braids).
HAIRLOKS by ARLETTE accepts cash or all major credit cards with photo identification. Remaining balance of all fees is required at the conclusion of your service. There is a $25 charge for returned checks. Payment for workshops and seminars may also be made online with your credit card via Paypal.
If you are dissatisfied with any of our services, please call and give us the opportunity to work it out with you. It may be something simple that can be remedied by the same stylist or you may find a better fit with another stylist. Either way, we want you to feel comfortable communicating with us. Due to the artistic nature of what we do, we cannot offer refunds on services provided. However we will work tirelessly to ensure your satisfaction.
